Product
Methods works out how each change should be done, has AI agents build it, proves it works and merges only what passes. You set direction and make the decisions that should stay with a person.
The loop
Each feature goes round the same loop. Models build; scripts decide.
Define
A contract sets the pass or fail criteria, the files the feature may touch and what it depends on.
Build
An AI agent builds the feature in its own copy of the code.
Verify
Scripts decide pass or fail. A separate agent tries to break it.
Land
The feature merges only after verification against the revision it lands on.
Learn
The cost is recorded, and every bug found becomes a permanent check.
Six capabilities
Each has its own page: what it is, how it works, what it guarantees and what is not built yet.
Feature contracts
Before any code is written, each feature gets pass or fail criteria, the files it may touch and what it depends on.

AI agents build one feature each in a separate copy of your code: a cheaper model for small changes, a stronger one for risky ones.
Read the page: Agents and workspacesVerification
Scripts decide pass or fail, and a second agent whose only job is to break the feature tries to prove it wrong.

Nothing merges until its checks pass again against the latest version of your code.

The app where you set direction and answer the decisions Methods will not make for you.

What each finished feature cost, and how often it passed first time.

Two parts, on your machine
The console is where you work; the engine does the work. They are separate, so either can be replaced without the other.
- The environment
- Where you work: the method, the live graph, decisions, runs and cost. Open source.
- The engine
- What does the work: feature contracts, the plan of what depends on what, the AI agents, the automated checks, the verified merge, a record of every step and the cost meter.
Where it stands
Methods is pre-alpha. The design is fixed and the code is being built feature by feature, using an earlier prototype of Methods on itself. You can read the readiness table on the security page.
Build with us as a design partner.
Methods is pre-alpha. A small number of teams will run it on real work while it is built, and shape what it becomes.
